The database replica and profiling add-ons extend your production deployment with capabilities beyond the standard offering: read-only database access for querying live data without affecting production performance, and application-level profiling for diagnosing runtime behavior in your Nakama instances. Reach for these when the built-in metrics and logs aren’t sufficient for the investigation at hand.
Database replica #
The database replica add-on gives you a read-only database accessible over the internet. Query your own data without impacting production performance.
Profiling #
Heroic Labs offers continuous profiling on request for studios with a commercial support agreement. When enabled, the Heroic Labs team can monitor your deployment’s CPU usage, memory allocation, Go routine counts, mutex behavior, and lock contention with you.
Continuous profiling runs differential analysis across different time frames — comparing profiles before and after a potential problem occurs — so the Heroic Labs team can suggest surgical, targeted improvements to your backend code.
This add-on is only available on Heroic Cloud (not for self-hosted Nakama deployments). To inquire, contact support@heroiclabs.com.

Enabling add-ons #
Enterprise SSO is available in the dashboard UI. The other add-ons (metric exporting, log exporting, database replica, and profiling) are being added to the UI. In the meantime, contact Heroic Labs (support@heroiclabs.com) to enable them for your organization.
