Private Cloud and VPC peering
Overview #
Heroic Cloud is the standard, fully managed offering where all infrastructure runs within Heroic Labs’ cloud accounts and regions. For studios with stricter compliance requirements or a need to co-locate game infrastructure alongside other internal workloads, Heroic Labs offers a Private Cloud option.
Key ideas #
- Private Cloud: the same Heroic Cloud platform, deployed and managed within your organization’s cloud environment under your compliance policies.
- VPC peering: a network connection between the Private Cloud network and other internal networks, allowing services to communicate directly without crossing the public internet.
- Standard Heroic Cloud limitation: VPC peering isn’t available on standard Heroic Cloud because the infrastructure lives in Heroic Labs’ accounts. Private Cloud removes this restriction.
